J.P. will begin his fourth season with the Buffalo Bills in 2007 after completing a season as the team's lone starter in 2006 and putting up quality numbers that he looks to improve upon this season.  He was a first round draft choice in 2004 by the Bills, with the 22nd overall selection. He was the first quarterback taken in the first round by the team since Jim Kelly was chosen 14th overall in the first round of the 1983 draft. Losman is a native of Venice, California, and he attended Venice High School where he earned Parade All-American honors and was rated the No. 3 quarterback in the nation by PrepStar Magazine. J.P. finished high school early and spent the spring semester of 1999 at UCLA before he decided to head to Tulane University, where he completed a stellar career with the Green Wave. He was a two-time team captain and finished in the Top 10 all-time in 18 offensive categories for the school. Losman was a Classical Studies major in college with a minor in Media Arts.
